Based on the UK series “The Driver,” “Parish” sees Esposito star as a family man who owns a luxury car service who enters the NO underworld after his son gets murdered. Read on for an official synopsis, courtesy of AMC:
In the series, Esposito stars as Gracian “Gray” Parish, a family man and proud owner of a luxury car service in New Orleans. After his son is violently murdered and his business collapses, an encounter with an old friend from his days as a wheelman resurfaces old habits, sending Gray on a high-stakes collision course with a violent criminal syndicate.
Along with Esposito, “Parish” also stars Zackary Momoh, Paula Malcomson, Skeet Ulrich, Bonnie Mbuli, and Ivan Mbakop. Arica Himmel and Dax Rey also star. Recurring cast includes Bradley Whitford and Amanda Brugel.
As noted earlier, “Parish” is based on the UK TV series “The Driver,” created by Danny Brocklehurt and Jim Poyser. AMC Studios produces the six-episode series with A+E Studios and Thruline Entertainment. Eduardo Javier Canot and Ryan Maldonado serves as showrunners and executive producers on “Parish.” Brocklehurt has co-creator, and also serves as an executive producer with Esposito, Poyser, Jolyon Symond and David Morrissey through Scribbler Films. Other executive producers include Josh Kesselman, Danny Sherman, Barry Jossen, Tana Jamieson, Theo Travers, and Red Production‘s Nicola Shindler.
