Razzies 2021: 'Dolittle,' 'Wonder Woman 1984,' 'Music' & More Land Nominations Honoring The Worst In Film

With Oscar nominations coming soon, you know what time it is—the Razzies! As we have come to expect every year for decades now, the Razzies have been announced, honoring the worst in film for the previous year. And this year, not even the pandemic can stop some truly awful pictures from landing nominations.

This year, leading the way, with six nominations each, are the Netflix feature, “365 Days,” and Robert Downey, Jr’sDolittle.” Both films earned Worst Picture noms, as well as Worst Actor, Worst Screenplay, and Worst Remake/Rip-off. “365 Days” went viral in 2020 as people realized the Polish film is a pretty graphic erotic drama that definitely feels inspired by “50 Shades of Grey,” both in content and quality. As for “Dolittle,” I mean, you had to expect this was coming right? That film was released in early 2020 and was immediately killed by critics. (Gotta love the Razzies’ sense of humor, nominating Downey, Jr and “his utterly unconvincing ‘Welsh’ accent” for Worst Screen Combo.)

Additional films that earned quite a few nominations include Sia’sMusic,” Ron Howard’sHillbilly Elegy,” and Blumhouse horror film, “Fantasy Island.” And if you really want to go down a rabbit hole, feel free to Google the “Barbie & Kendra” films. I had no idea what those are, and wow, they’re…something.

The “winners” of the 2021 Razzies will be announced on April 24.
