Not sure where people get this stuff, but The Wrap thinks and is reporting that production on Robert Rodriguez’s “Red Sonja” actually happened and was shut down because Rose McGowan injured herself on the set. Others are framing it like the movie is currently shooting.
‘Tards. This movie never went into production. Some pre-production shots were taken (seen here) and made into teaser posters, but an actual go-production is something invented in fairy tale land.
Rose even says as much on Twitter this afternoon. “News is wrong! No injuries stopped the filming on Red Sonja! Film didn’t start. Stunt on ‘Planet Terror’ & eventual arm/hand surgery delayed…”
Last we all heard she was hoping to to get to ‘Sonja’ after “Conan” gets rebooted. So 2011, 12? Not anytime soon…
