FilmSchoolRejects are reporting they just received a press release from the SXSW Film Festival that says Seth Rogen’s “Observe & Report” directed by Jody Hill (“The Foot Fist Way”) will be making its world premiere at their 2009 film fest in mid March (13-21).
The only other film announced so far for SXSW is Paul Rudd and Jason Segel’s ‘bromance’ film, “I Love You, Man.”
Anna Faris, Ray Liotta, Patton Oswalt,Aziz Ansari, and Michael Peña (pictured with Rogen) also star. “Observe & Report” comes out not long after the festival on April 10.
SXSW Film Fest ’09 has added four documentaries to its slate, “Objectified” (directed by the man behind the font doc, “Helvetica”) “New World Order,” “Winnebago Man,” and “RiP: A Remix Manifesto” which explores issues of copyright in the information age, 21st century mash-up artists and features artists like Girl Talk.
