‘She-Hulk’ Trailer: Tatiana Maslany Stars As Marvel’s ‘Attorney At Law’ Coming To Disney+ In August

As Marvel expands their Cinematic Universe, the studio continues to grow its roster and get into more nooks and crannies of the Marvel Universe. She-Hulk is one fan-favorite character arguably way overdue to appear on screen, but don’t fret. The Emerald Amazon or Shulkie, as she is sometimes referred to in the comics, is coming to Disney+ later in the summer.

And as Marvel expands its rosters, it also boosts the moods, tones, and genres they’re hoping to tackle. To that end, “She-Hulk” is said to be a comedy, and the newly released trailer basically backs that up.

The ten-episode series stars Tatiana Maslany as attorney Jennifer Walters who gains Hulk-like powers when she receives a blood transfusion from her cousin, Bruce Banner. The series will also star Mark Ruffalo as Hulk/Banner, Tim Roth as Annihilation, plus Jameela Jamil, and Ginger Gonzaga. Expect a legal comedy of Hulk-sized proportions with this one. If rumors are correct, you might get some appearances from the legal eagle MCU experts seen in “Spider-Man: No Way Home” (yes, Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock lawyer character is rumored to show up, but who knows if those online stories are true).

Jessica Gao serves as the lead writer of the series, best known for being the mind behind the Rick and Morty” Pickle Rick episode (Marvel really loves its “Rick and Morty” writers and nearly anything that has to do with Dan Harmon).

Filmmaker Kat Coiro has been tapped to direct numerous episodes of the show, including the pilot, and she is best known for her work in the sitcom realm with shows like “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia” “Shameless” and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine.”

Just how comedic will “She-Hulk” be in the end? Rumors have it that the show really swings for the fences, so get ready. “She-Hulk” will debut on Disney+ on August 17, 2022. Watch the first trailer below.
