Got a Tip?

Short Cuts: Scarlett Johnansson, Natalie & Devendra In A Tree, Pacino & DeNiro Lose It

So we found some Scarlett Johansson tracks a week or so ago, but they got pulled. AOL now has their hands on the exclusive of “Falling Down,” that features that old dude David Bowie. We still haven’t really changed or opinion on the entire album; it’s a little sub-par, with predictable tinkerbell production from TVOTR’s Dave Sitek (he makes everyone sound the same). Though the music isn’t all that bad sometimes the main problem is Scarjo’s unremarkable meh voice. [Spinner]

More non-news-worthy ridiculous photos of Natalie Portman and Chewbacca-like indie rocker Devendra Banhart have surfaced. They are amusing worthy however. And Portman’s dog did pee on her which we think is the animal’s tacit opinion of her choice in boyfriends. [ONTD/New York Post]

The L.A. Times claim, “oh how they mighty have fallen” and they’re talking about former greats Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino who are working together on the upcoming cop drama, “Righteous Kill.” Basically they’re calling former heavyweights late-era Marlon Brando’s: i.e., lazy, safe and fat(uous) in their film choices. Can’t say we’d argue with them. and ‘Kill’ looks stoopid and banal. [L.A. Times] Apparently Pacino’s latest, “88 Minutes,” is one of the most poorly reviewed films of all time.
