Something Illegal Might Be Happening In New Trailer For Woody Allen's 'Crisis In Six Scenes'

The revolution will not be televised, but it will get Woody Allen-ized, with the prolific writer/director delivering his first TV series with “Crisis In Six Scenes.” The filmmaker heads to Amazon for the project, for what will likely be a one-time only affair, delivering six half-hour episodes. And it looks like it could be a winner.

The new, full length trailer highlights the rest of the players who will be supporting Allen including Miley Cyrus, Elaine May, John Magaro and Rachel Brosnahan, in the tale of a suburban family who get caught up in the social change of the 1960s. And it looks like the medium hasn’t changed Allen’s authorial voice, so if you’re a fan, this will be must-watch stuff, and if not, maybe not so much.

“Crisis In Six Scenes” debuts on September 30th.
