‘Spider-Man’ Producer Wants Tom Holland To Do “100 More” Sequels But The Actor Has James Bond On His Mind

Believe it or not, Tom Holland’s time as Spider-Man might be coming to an end after “Spider-Man: No Way Home.” At least, his contract is actually finished and he’s unsure if he’ll re-sign for more films. But if producer Amy Pascal has anything to say about it, Holland will stick around in his Spidey suit for years and years to come.

Talking to GQ as part of a new profile on the actor, Amy Pascal discussed the future of the ‘Spider-Man’ franchise, which she hopes includes Tom Holland. And Holland discussed his own future, which may have more 007 than fans are hoping.

“I’ve talked to [Holland] about doing, like, 100 more,” Pascal said about ‘Spider-Man’ films. “I’m never going to make Spider-Man movies without him. Are you kidding me?”

But the young actor doesn’t know if a Spider-Man-filled future is in the cards after ‘No Way Home.’

“Maybe it is time for me to move on. Maybe what’s best for Spider-Man is that they do a Miles Morales film,” said the actor. “I have to take Peter Parker into account as well because he is an important part of my life. If I’m playing Spider-Man after I’m 30, I’ve done something wrong.”

Clearly, the issue of another round of ‘Spider-Man’ films is weighing heavy on the mind of Tom Holland. His first two solo films, ‘Homecoming’ and ‘Far From Home,’ are massive hits and fan-favorites. Holland’s appearances in ‘Civil War’ and the last two ‘Avengers’ films were cheer-worthy. But the actor might have another franchise on his mind for his future instead of being the wallcrawler again.

“He talks about being James Bond a lot,” said ‘Spider-Man’ actor Jacob Batalon.  “A lot a lot.”

Regardless of whether there’s 007 or Spidey (or both) in his future, he does have a new Apple TV+ drama coming up, “The Crowded Room.” That much is certain. And after that? Not even Tom Holland knows. Hell, he might give up acting for good.

“I might start shooting ‘The Crowded Room’ and go, ‘You know what, this is what I’m going to do for the rest of my life,’” Holland teased. “Or I might do ‘Spider-Man’ 4, 5, and 6, finish when I’m 32, and never make another. I’m not sure what I want to do.”

“Spider-Man: No Way Home” is set to arrive in theaters on December 17.
