'I Still See You' Trailer: Dystopian Ghost Thriller Leaves Us With A Lot Of Questions

Like we said earlier this week when we were discussing the trailer for “How It Ends,” society is obsessed with the idea of the apocalypse. In films centered around the subject, we rarely see the aftermath of the events, especially what the world is like 10 years later, until now.

I Still See You” is a dystopian thriller centered around what the world is like after an apocalyptic event that leaves the world riddled with ghosts. When Roni, played by Bella Thorne starts receiving messages from beyond she teams up with a classmate to learn more about the dead and, hopefully, stop a killer.

It’s a strange world Roni lives in, living amongst the dead. The trailer left us with a lot of questions, such as, how do you know who is living and who is dead? Can the dead actually touch the living people? Is that why Roni is so scared? Unfortunately, we won’t be able to find out the answers to these questions until the film is released on October 12, but it seems the trailer has done exactly what it set out to do, pique our interest.

The film is directed by Scott Speer and is based on the novel “Break My Heart One Thousand Times” by Daniel Water. Alongside Bella Thorne, the film will star  Richard Harmon, Amy PriceFrancis, Hugh Dillon, Shaun Benson, Dave Brown, Thomas Elms, with Louis Herthum, and Dermot Mulroney.

Here is the official synopsis:

Bella Thorne stars in this spellbinding and romantic supernatural thriller.
