Good One”
One of the big breakouts out of Sundance earlier this year, writer/director India Donaldson’s debut feature is a thoughtful and meditative film in the vein of Kelly Reichardt’s similarly intimate and observational “Old Joy.” Featuring breakout star Lily Collias, she plays a quiet teenager battling the egos of her divorced dad (James Le Gros) and loudmouth best friend (Danny McCarthy) on a hiking trip. Simple, but super affecting (our review).
