And in honor of the soundtrack to “Sweet Tooth” arriving this week, we’re thrilled to give our readers an exclusive peek at one of the tracks from the forthcoming release. For those unaware, “Sweet Tooth” tells the story of Gus, a young boy that is half-deer, half-human, as he ventures through the post-apocalypse with his chosen family, Tommy and Bear. The series is directed, co-written, and co-showrun by Jim Mickle, who worked with Beth Schwartz.
The music featured in “Sweet Tooth” comes from composer Jeff Grace, who is no stranger to working with filmmaker Jim Mickle. Previously, the two worked on features such as “In the Shadow of the Moon,” “We Are What We Are,” and “Stake Land.” Other features Grace has worked on include Kelly Reichardt’s “Meek’s Cutoff” and “Certain Women.”
The “Sweet Tooth” soundtrack is set to be released tomorrow, June 25. The first season of the series is available now on Netflix. You can hear the track below.
