“Y2K”
Saturday Night Live” comedian and writer Kyle Mooney makes his feature-length directorial debut with a comedy about the eponymous eve-of-the-millennium event. On the last night of 1999, two high school juniors crash a New Year’s Eve party, only to find themselves fighting for their lives in a dial-up-era disaster comedy. Rachel Zegler, Jaeden Martell, and Julian Dennison star alongside Lachlan Watson, Daniel Zolghadri, Mason Gooding, and The Kid Laroi.

“A Nice Indian Boy”
Karan Soni (“Deadpool”) and Jonathan Groff (“Mindhunter”)star in Roshan Sethi’s romantic dramedy about two gay men who fall in love but then must contend with traditional Indian parents trying to accept the gay relationship and eventually help them plan the most fabulous Indian wedding their community has ever seen. Co-starring Sunita Mani, Zarna Garg, Harish Patel, Peter S. Kim, and Sas Goldberg co-star.

“Arcadian”
Nicolas Cage and Jaeden Martell star in a post-apocalyptic sci-fi-ish survival drama where a catastrophic event has depopulated the world. Cage plays a father taking care of his two sons who must survive their dystopian environment while being threatened by mysterious creatures that emerge at night. Maxwell Jenkins and Sadie Soverall co-star in a film directed by Ben Brewer.

“Road House”
Director Doug Liman (“Edge Of Tomorrow”) reimagines the 80s cult classic as an adrenaline-fueled film set in the world of UFC. Ex-fighter Dalton (Jake Gyllenhaal) takes a job as a bouncer at a Florida Keys roadhouse, only to discover that this paradise is not all it seems. Daniela Melchior, Billy Magnussen, Jessica Williams, Joaquim de Almeida, Conor McGregor, Lukas Gage and more co-star. And this one comes with controversy as Liman is boycotting the SXSW premiere because Amazon won’t give it a theatrical release (whereas insiders say he and Gyllenhaal took a bigger payday in lieu of going theatrical, which is a big yikes).

“Immaculate”
Michael Mohan directs “Euphoria” star Sydney Sweeney in a religious horror about a devout American nun who embarks on a new journey in a remote convent in the picturesque Italian countryside. Her warm welcome quickly devolves into a nightmare as it becomes clear her new home harbors a sinister secret and unspeakable Álvaro Morte, Dora Romano, Benedetta Porcaroli, Giorgio Colangeli and Simona Tabasco co-star.
