'The Crown' Season 6 Part 1 Trailer: The Final Season Of Netflix's Smash Hit Begins On November 16

Peter Morgan‘s “The Crown” has been one of Netflix‘s most popular and critically acclaimed series for seven years. But reviews dipped a bit for last year’s Season 5, which means all eyes will be on how the show’s sixth and final season does as it premieres. And to send off “The Crown,” Netflix has broken up Season 6 into two parts, with the first hitting the streamer next month.

Season 6 focuses on the days leading up to the tragic death of Princess Diana, with the season’s first four episodes focusing on her blossoming romance with Dodi Fayed.

A relationship blossoms between Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed before a fateful car journey has devastating consequences.

Prince William tries to integrate back into life at Eton in the wake of his mother’s death as the monarchy has to ride the wave of public opinion. As she reaches her Golden Jubilee, the Queen reflects on the future of the monarchy with the marriage of Charles and Camilla and the beginnings of a new Royal fairytale in William and Kate.
