Well, Netflix has made it official: director David Fincher and star Brad Pitt‘s reunion (having previously worked together on “Seven,” “Fight Club,” and “Benjamin Button“) in the follow-up to Quentin Tarantino‘s peroid alterative history industry comedy flick “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” is heading to IMAX screens on November 25, before it heads to the streaming service on December 23, along with a slightly altered title, as the movie will now be known as “The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth.”
Others appearing in the pic, now set in 1977, are Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Peter Weller, Matt Groove, JB Tadena, Corey Fogelmanis, Karren Karagulian, and there are expectations that Timothy Olyphant (actor leaked his participation) is also showing up in the role of James Stacy.

Brad Pitt returns to his Academy Award-winning role as Cliff Booth, only this time it’s 1977, and it’s a very different Hollywood. Directed by David Fincher, from a screenplay by Quentin Tarantino.
Tarantino handed over the script to be helmed by Fincher after he got cold feet about making “The Movie Critic,” after there have been rumblings from his longtime cinematographer Robert Richardson that his 10th and final film (untitled, of course) could start production by next summer. We’ll certainly be sharing any sort of updates on that front.
Meanwhile, there was a Super Bowl ad for “The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth”; we’re still waiting for a high-def iteration from Netflix, which is likely just around the corner. We’re sure audiences will be thrilled to have some limited theatrical access to the new Fincher/Pitt/Tarantino film ahead of its streaming debut in December.
