'The Other Black Girl' Trailer: A Woman Discovers Something Sinister At Her Job In New Series Produced By Rashida Jones

Corporate culture and politics are already treacherous things for people to navigate in their careers. You can imagine how these issues are only magnified when you’re the only Black person in a company run by and full of white people. That’s the crux of the new thriller series, “The Other Black Girl.”

As seen in the trailer for the series, “The Other Black Girl” follows the story of Nella, a young Black woman in a large corporation filled with white people. She is excited when she sees that another Black woman has been hired in a position. However, shortly after, things start to go awry and Nella begins to learn about something sinister going on at the company. Is she discovering a deep conspiracy or is she losing her mind?

The series stars Sinclair Daniel, Ashleigh Murray, Brittany Adebumola, Hunter Parrish, Bellamy Young, Eric McCormack, and Garcelle Beauvais. “The Other Black Girl” is co-showrun by Jordan Reddout and Gus Hickey. Rashida Jones serves as one of the Executive Producers.

Here’s the synopsis:

Nella, an editorial assistant, is tired of being the only Black girl at her company, so she’s excited when Hazel is hired. But as Hazel’s star begins to rise, Nella spirals out and discovers something sinister is going on at the company.
