With Guillermo Del Toro's monstrous "Pacific Rim" looking to crush the box office next summer, the viral marketing train is leaving the station.
A website for something called Pan Pacific Defense has launched, featuring a countdown clock leading to something in about two weeks, probably a trailer of some kind. Meanwhile, a video testing the Kaiju Emergency Alert System has also arrived to try and raise some goosebumps, while lastly an urgent letter from the not too distant future of 2015 calls for the recruitment of five pilots — one name redacted — to helm the Jaegers against an unnamed threat that is moving in.
