As we all patiently await further news about Paul Thomas Anderson‘s Next Top Model, the director is continuing his chill hangs with his best buds Radiohead. He directed their video for “Daydreaming,” and got intimate lensing a spot for “Present Tense.” And now he’s getting even more laid back with “The Numbers.”
Just like “Present Tense,” this was shot live in Tarzana, California, with Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood and a Roland CR-78 jamming out the tune. And it’s nice stuff, though I have to say “The Numbers” without the string parts just isn’t the same, but it still has its own flavor in this version which looks like Thom and Jonny might bust out a hacky sack at any moment.
