Tom Cruise’s action comedy, “Witchita,” directed by James Mangold and co-starring Cameron Diaz has changed its title to “Knight & Day.” It’s a 20th Century Fox picture and currently shooting. It will arrive July 2, 2010.
Universal has released synopses for “Green Zone,” “MacGruber,” “Get Him To The Greek,” Ridley Scott’s still untitled “Robin Hood,” project and “Your Highness.” No major revelations, but if you’re a fan of any of these projects, you might want to take a look.
Kristen Schaal (“Flight of The Concords”) and Blake Clark (several Adam Sandler films) have been added to the cast of “Toy Story 3.” Clark replaces the voice of Jim Varney who we totally forgot had passed away. 🙁 If you insist on watching bad movies, forget Zach Snyder films, The “Ernest” series is much more enjoyable.
“2012” director Roland Emmerich says he wants a sequel to “Independence Day.” Meh, who fucking cares. This guys stands for everything that is wrong with movies today.
D.J. Caruso (masterpiece theater classics like, “Disturbia,” “Eagle Eye”) will direct Chris Pine in “The Art of Making Money,” which is ironically titled because the financially strapped Paramount, who is otherwise not supposed to be spending development money this year (like every other studio that basically stopped spending until 2010), just spent $2 million dollars on a separate untitled feature pitch from writers Aline Brosh McKenna and Simon Kinberg that will be produced by J.J. Abrams.
Character posters, yes! You know we love those. Posters for every character in Terry Gilliam’s “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus,” have been released. Take a look. The film comes out in limited release on December 25. Heath Ledger’s face looks too airbrushed.
