Tom Holland is definitely best known for his role as Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, in the various Marvel Studios productions. And since his debut was the Webslinger, he’s landed roles in a ton of high-profile projects including “Chaos Walking,” “Uncharted,” “The Devil All the Time,” and the recently released film, “Cherry.” Well, it appears that he’s not slowing down anytime soon, already lining up a new TV gig for Apple TV+, titled “The Crowded Room.”

According to Variety, Holland is set to star in the first season of the new anthology series for Apple, “The Crowded Room.” The first season of the new series, which is produced by Akiva Goldsman, is expected to be inspired by the biography “The Minds of Billy Milligan” by Daniel Keyes. In the TV series, Holland will portray Billy Milligan, who rose to fame as the first person to be acquitted of a crime due to Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), aka multiple personality disorder.
The Apple TV+ series will have a 10-episode first season. It’s unclear how the anthology series will continue in future seasons after the Billy Milligan-inspired introduction. Regardless, you have to assume with Holland on board to star, “The Crowded Room” will be a huge hit for the streaming platform. Previously, Holland worked with Apple on the aforementioned “Cherry,” which was released earlier this year and comes from directors Joe and Anthony Russo.
Before we see him in “The Crowded Room,” Holland is set to appear later this year in “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” followed by the aforementioned “Uncharted.” He’s also rumored to be up for the lead role in the prequel franchise film, “Wonka,” according to recent reports.
“The Crowded Room” doesn’t have a release date yet.
