Got a Tip?

Tom Wopat, James Remar, James Russo & Todd Allen Join ‘Django Unchained’

nullHey! It's those guys! A bunch of faces you probably recognize but names you don't remember have joined Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained" all in pretty small roles. But hey, it's something, right?

Tom Wopat, James Remar, James Russo and Todd Allen have come aboard the project in a variety of roles. Wopat, best known as Luke Duke in "The Dukes of Hazzard" and also a Tony award-nominated stage actor, will play Marshall Gill Tatum. Remar, aka Dexter's Dad, aka Sideswipe, aka That Guy You've Seen In Everything, will play Ace Speck alongside Russo as Dicky Speck, two slave trading brothers who pick up Django at the Greenville Slave Auction. Meanwhile, Allen has the tightest connection to QT of the bunch, having taken an acting class with the director 25 years ago, proving that it always pays to send a Christmas card. He'll play Dollar bill, the plantation overseer.

So this is what the cast looks like now, in addition to these four: Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio, Samuel L. Jackson, Christoph Waltz, Kerry Washington, Dennis Christopher, Kurt Russell, Laura Cayouette, Don Johnson, M.C. Gainey, Tom Savini, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anthony LaPaglia, RZA and Misty Upham. That catering table is gonna be massive.

Production kicks off in January for a Christmas Day 2012 release. [Variety]
