Kumail Nanjiani's Episode Of Jordan Peele's 'Twilight Zone' Remake Available On YouTube

Yesterday was filled with many attempts from people trying to come up with a funny April Fools’ Day joke. However, April 1 was also the day that Jordan Peele’s latest project, his “Twilight Zone” remake premiered on CBS All Access. Unfortunately, if you aren’t a subscriber to the streaming service, you most likely didn’t get a chance to check it out. Luckily for you, CBS has decided to make one episode of “The Twilight Zone” available on YouTube.

The episode is titled “The Comedian” and features “The Big Sick” star Kumail Nanjiani as a comedian that wants to be famous and is willing to do whatever it takes. And considering this is “The Twilight Zone,” we know that these sorts of ambitious folks normally find themselves getting a little more than they bargained for.

Nanjiani is far from the only major name to have a role in this new anthology series. Seth Rogen, Tracy Morgan, Ike Barinholtz, John Cho, Lucinda Dryzek, Taissa Farmiga, Greg Kinnear, Luke Kirby, Sanaa Lathan, Adam Scott, Rhea Seehorn, Allison Tolman, Jacob Tremblay, Jefferson White, Jonathan Whitesell, Jessica Williams, DeWanda Wise, and Steven Yeun all make appearances on the new streaming series. Of course, there’s also Peele, himself, who serves as the host of the show, inheriting the role that was occupied by the original series’ creator Rod Serling.

Right now, CBS All Access only has two of the episodes from the first season available. Joining “The Comedian” is “Nightmare at 30,000 feet,” a remake of the classic ‘Twilight Zone’ episode that starred William Shatner. However, in the new version, Adam Scott leads the cast.

CBS All Access will premiere new episodes of “The Twilight Zone” weekly beginning on April 11.
