‘Uncharted’ Final Trailer: Tom Holland Goes On A Treasure Hunt With Mark Wahlberg In New Film

After years of development and several release date delays, it appears Sony sort of lucked out with the current scheduled release of “Uncharted.” After Tom Holland appeared in “Spider-Man: No Way Home” and earned record-breaking box office, now would seem like the perfect time to capitalize on that success and release yet another film with the young actor in it, right?

Well, that’s exactly what’s happening, and in the final trailer for “Uncharted,” we once again see how Sony is adapting the popular video game franchise into a modern “Indiana Jones”-esque adventure tale. Holland stars as Nathan Drake, a young man who is recruited by a treasure hunter to go on an adventure to find the biggest score yet. As you might expect, things don’t go exactly as planned.

Joining Tom Holland in the cast of “Uncharted” are Mark Wahlberg, Sophia Ali, Tati Gabrielle, and Antonio Banderas. The film is directed by “Venom” filmmaker Ruben Fleischer.

“Uncharted” hits theaters on February 18. You can watch the trailer below.

Here’s the synopsis:

Street-smart Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) is recruited by seasoned treasure hunter Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) to recover a fortune amassed by Ferdinand Magellan and lost 500 years ago by the House of Moncada. What starts as a heist job for the duo becomes a globe-trotting, white-knuckle race to reach the prize before the ruthless Santiago Moncada (Antonio Banderas), who believes he and his family are the rightful heirs. If Nate and Sully can decipher the clues and solve one of the world’s oldest mysteries, they stand to find $5 billion in treasure and perhaps even Nate’s long-lost brother…but only if they can learn to work together.
