“Kill Bill 3” is one of those sequels that always get brought up whenever Quentin Tarantino makes a new movie, or talks in public. So it’s no surprise that Vivica A. Fox, who played Vernita Green aka Copperhead in the first “Kill Bill”, recently spoke of the possibility of the sequel. The answer? Tarantino is apparently talking to Uma Thurman about the third installment in the franchise.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Fox discussed her work in the “Kill Bill” movies. Fox, of course, had a heart-stopping showdown with Uma Thurman’s Beatrix in “Kill Bill Vol. 1” which ended with Beatrix stabbing Vernita in the chest. The scene also set up a possible conflict for a third “Kill Bill” as Vernita’s daughter, Nikki (Ambrosia Kelley), witnessed the confrontation and is assured by The Bride that she’ll be ready if the girl ever comes for her own revenge.
According to Fox “I think they’re waiting for [Vernita’s] daughter to grow up,” and takes the chance to tease the possibility of a third film. “So, the latest I’ve heard is that [Quentin] and Uma have been talking, and I’d love for them to figure it out. Quentin is great with flashbacks and figuring out some kind of way to make his characters alive again in a film. So, I’m really hoping that Vernita Green gets her revenge.”
Fox also recalls the physical work she and Thurman put into that fight scene. “Oh my God, I trained for six months. I literally went from a size 8 to a size 2,” Fox says. “It was intense and grueling, but I loved every single bump and bruise. I’ll never forget the fourth and final day of filming the fight; I counted 30 bruises on my body, and I was proud of every single one of them. I earned them. “
