Warner Bros. Announces ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ Black & Chrome Edition On DVD & Blu-ray

Word has long been that director George Miller always envisioned “Mad Max: Fury Road” as a black and white film. Obviously, the studio wasn’t going to release that version in theaters. However, later this year, fans of ‘Fury Road’ are going to be able to see Miller’s vision when Warner Bros. unveils “Mad Max: Fury Road Black & Chrome Edition.”

The “Black & Chrome Edition” of ‘Fury Road’ will be released in two versions. First, as part of the “Mad Max High Octane Collection,” a set that will include all four of the ‘Mad Max’ films, including the most recent, ‘Fury Road,’ along with the ‘Black & Chrome Edition.’ But if you’re not interested in owning the whole series, you can purchase the “Mad Max: Fury Road Two Film Collection” which will include the original theatrical cut of the film, along with the new black and white version with an introduction from George Miller.

The box set looks to be the definitive ‘Mad Max’ release, featuring hours of extra features. Both releases are going to be available just in time for Christmas, on December 6th. Check out the full list of extras below. [ComingSoon]
