Watch: 2 Clips From 'Wrath Of The Titans' Featuring Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson & Ralph Fiennes

nullIs it just us, or has the pre-release marketing of the upcoming “Clash of the Titans” sequel “Wrath of the Titans” been significantly less than when the preceding film debuted around this time two years ago? Other than billboards in posters littering many major cities, we only got our first look back in December, with a couple of sloppy trailers and boring images since.

Anyways, the titans are set to wrath next weekend, and now we’re seeing a few clips from the film that prove they may actually be doing so. Through the lens of “Battlefield: Los Angeles” director Jonathan Liebesman, the two new clips try to highlight what the new helmer has brought to the table, and do nothing really to inspire a longing for this film. The first clip, which features a heated exchange between Zeus and Hades, plays it smart by showcasing what was the only bright spot in the first film in watching Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes battle it out. In the second clip, Sam Worthington almost proves he’s trying to stray from his admittedly bland performance in the first film, until Danny Huston’s character of Poseidon breaks apart into sand in some of the shoddiest digital effects we’ve seen in a long time.

This could be worrisome for those already on edge about Liebsman’s next film “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," which will cast the Turtles as aliens from another planet and who were hoping to see how the helmer would handle a mega-blockbuster action flick. Though as Michael Bay said, perhaps you should just remember to "take a breath, and chill." “Wrath of the Titans” hits theaters on March 30th.
