So, how to do you show off your big screen reboot of a beloved comic book hero coming back to the multiplex in a new sexy 3D movie? With smartphone ready clips, it seems.
The folks over at HeyUGuys have stumbled across some super lo-res, dreadfully cropped but still watchable clips from "The Amazing Spider-Man" that they reckon is from some kind of app for the movie (a pretty good guess). Whatever it is, Sony dropped the ball. Anyway, the first clip shows Peter Parker bouncing around the inside of a subway car, while the second clip reveals him suited up as Spider-Man and having some fun with a crook he has pinned against a wall. Lastly, we seem him prematurely ejaculate some toothpaste before his accidentally trashing the bathroom.
So…this is going to be a wacky comedy? We're sure more trailers are on the way, but we hope there is a bit more dirt beneath the fingernails on this one. "The Amazing Spider-Man" opens on July 3rd.
