The summer movie season won’t be going out without a bit of style being delivered at the multiplex. After years in development, and a flirtation by Steven Soderbergh, Warner Bros. is finally launching "The Man From U.N.C.L.E." on the big screen, with Guy Ritchie behind the camera. But in a year full of spy movies, will this one have what it takes to stand out?
Undoubtedly, the cast is pretty sharp, with Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer, Alicia Vikander, Hugh Grant, Jared Harris, Elizabeth Debecki and more getting into the swinging sixties tale of U.S. and Russia secret agents being forced to put aside their differences and team up to find a bigger evil. It is hard to tell how that ancient Cold War humor will play out or how this movie will stack up to "Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation," a more contemporary secret agent action flick already earning terrific reviews. Well, these three new clips, a featurette, and a batch of pictures can provide a clue.
"The Man From U.N.C.L.E." opens on August 14th.
