Way back in 1974, when he was only known for handling the animated sequences in “Monty Python’s Flying Circus,” Gilliam appeared on the “Do-It-Yourself Animation Show” with a tutorial on his animation process. It’s a pretty fascinating watch not only for the chance to see a very young Gilliam (look at that hair!) but also to witness an artform that’s rarely seen in this age of CG-animation.
