Last week we got the international trailer, and now it all comes home today with a new domestic trailer for Kelly Reichardt‘s “Night Moves.” And it dives into a world where trust is earned, and forever fragile, and where conviction is the biggest weapon of all.
Starring Jesse Eisenberg, Dakota Fanning and Peter Sarsgaard, the film follows three people who come together to bomb a hydroelectric dam and delves into the moral and ethical dilemmas they face, and seemingly the shifting dynamics among them. As you might expect from Reichardt, it moves at its own pace, but the result is one where the tension is continually raised, with our review out of Venice calling the movie, “nail-biting” and one that nods favorably toward Alfred Hitchcock and Claude Chabrol in its construction.
“Night Moves” opens on May 30th. Watch below.
