There are action movies, there are chase movies, and then there’s "Mad Max: Fury Road." Set to screen at Cannes, with expectations that it will fully melt your eyeballs, there will be few movies this summer on the scale of George Miller‘s latest fourth entry in the series. But if you’re not familiar with the first three movies, now’s the time to catch up.
Warner Bros. has dropped a brand new trailer for ‘Fury Road’ that reminds of the Mel Gibson-starring roots, before Tom Hardy got in the driver’s seat. It’s a nice look back that builds back up to the new movie and reminds you how far Miller is pushing the envelope. “I wanted to tell a linear story — a chase that starts as the movie begins and continues for 110 minutes,” he told EW. “… in this crucible of very intense action, the characters are revealed.”
