Before it was even seen, Oscar buzz was swirling around "The Danish Girl," but now that it has taken a run through the fall festival circuit, any thoughts of it being a "lock" have vanished. Reviews have been mixed on this one, though if it vies for any gold, Eddie Redmayne still looks to be very much in the game for Best Actor. And now a new trailer is here to highlight more of his work.

Co-starring Alicia Vikander, with Tom Hooper ("The King’s Speech," "Les Miserables") behind the camera, the film tells the true story of Lili Elbe and Gerda Wegener, and how their relationship is tested when Lili undergoes a groundbreaking gender reassignment procedure. With transgender rights becoming increasingly part of the national conversation, this is a timely film that should only draw more attention to the issue.
