Earlier today it was revealed that producer Scott Rudin was bringing the nerd battle between Sega and Nintendo to the big screen with “Console Wars,” roping in Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg to write and direct. If you want your fill of nerds and technology a little bit quicker, Rudin and HBO have a fix on the way with “Silicon Valley,” but the most important name behind it is this one: Mike Judge.
Yep, the guy who defined office work life better than anybody with “Office Space” is back and this time tackling what it means to be an entrepreneur in the 21st century. Starring Thomas Middleditch, T.J. Miller, Zach Woods, Martin Starr, Kumail Nanjiani, Josh Brener, Christopher Welch, and Amanda Crew, the show will tell the story of a bunch of tech nerds who decide to launch their own startup, and as you’ll see, the stress of making it happen and getting recognition for their work are all part of the mix. We really like the folks involved, and the premise has tons of potential so we can’t wait to see how it all turns out.
“Silicon Valley” premieres on Sunday, April 6th.
