Watch: First Trailer For Rock 'N Roll Dramedy 'Len And Company' With Rhys Ifans, Juno Temple, Kathryn Hahn & More

We’ve seen plenty of washed up rock ‘n rollers grace the big screen, but Rhys Ifans does the role justice in the upcoming “Len And Company.” And while the rest of the movie around him isn’t quite up to scratch with the scruffy, don’t-give-a-shit attitude he gives his title character, you may be interested in tuning in for his performance alone.

Co-starring Juno Temple, Jack Kilmer, Keir Gilchrist, and Kathryn Hahn, the story revolves around a rocker whose glory days are behind him, whose isolation is interrupted by the arrival of a pop star he produced in the midst of a life crisis, along with his estranged son. Of course, sparks fly. Here’s the official synopsis:

Rhys Ifans goes to eleven as a rock star staring down a personal crisis in this smart, acerbic comedy. He plays Len, a punk rocker-turned-in-demand pop producer who, following a very public meltdown, retreats to his country home for some time away from the pressures of the business. His solitude is interrupted, however, when he receives a visit from some surprise guests — his estranged son (Jack Kilmer) and pop star protégé (Juno Temple) — who arrive with complications of their own and who shake the prickly Len out of his stupor. Propelled by an irresistible performance from Ifans, Len and Company offers wry and incisive observations on fame and family.

“Len And  Company” opens in theaters and hits iTunes on June 10th. Watch the trailer above.
