Watch: Go Game Jumping With The Trailer For Disney's 'Wreck-It-Ralph'

nullJust this morning we were talking about how movie-like video games have become with Ellen Page leading the upcoming "Beyond: Two Souls," but it hasn't always been like that, and Disney is bringing back the old quarter pumping arcade memories with "Wreck-It-Ralph."

The first trailer for the movie has landed and it's a candy colored delight that will surely make gamers young and old pretty damn excited. The story centers on the title character, voiced by John C. Reilly, who is tired of being the bad guy against the squeaky clean Fix-It Felix (Jack McBrayer), so he decides to try his hand at being the hero of another game in the arcade. He hops from game to game, trying his hand at heroics, until he unintentionally unleashes a larger threat that could destroy all of the games.

This spot features a lot of great little moments from the support group meeting with the eyefull of classic characters, the Q*Bert talk and the pretty awesome Mario Kart styled race. However, the little kid surrogate played by Sarah Silverman seems a bit tacked on and wasn't particularly endearing, and whoever picked the random music (Talking Heads "Once In A Lifetime"? Generic pop music song?) should be fired. Surely this kind of creative concept for a film deserves something a bit more appropriate, and maybe off the beaten path.

But minor quibbles aside, so far, so good. "Wreck-It-Ralph" opens on November 2nd.
