Watch: Go Into Orbit With 5 Clips & More From 'Jupiter Ascending'; The Wachowskis Talk 'Sense8' Due This Spring

Jupiter AscendingLast week, the Wachowskis‘ "Jupiter Ascending" unspooled in a secret screening at the Sundance Film Festival, however, only select press were invited, and even then, reviews were embargoed. It’s yet another sign that the sci-fi film starring Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis may have been moved from release last summer for reasons beyond tinkering with the post-production. Now, you can get a good sense of the film for yourself with five clips and a featurette.

Co-starring Oscar nominee Eddie Redmayne, Sean Bean, and Tuppence Middleton, the movie tells the story of a lowly maid who has a galactic fate which could change her future, but also holds life as we know it on Earth in the balance. Below, you can see Tatum explain the science behind his floating boots, and Kunis declare her love of dogs, among other things, while going behind the scenes of the movie with the cast. But even if this film doesn’t work out, don’t think the grand ambitions from the Wachowskis have been diminished. Later this year, they’re dropping another bold vision, "Sense8," on Netflix, and it sounds like wild stuff.

"We wanted to make a thing that’s about everything. We told Netflix we were like, ‘We’re only interested in doing this. It’s going to be so hard, it’s not very much money. We’re only interested in it if we can do anything. And I mean anything. Like crazy psychic orgies with all sorts of different bodies.’ And they were like, ‘Yeah sure, cool great,’ " Lana Wachowski told io9.

"It’s science fiction but it’s more about humanity. It’s about everything," Andy Wachowski said, adding, without exaggeration, "we have live births…Babies coming out of vaginas…Tune in. In May, you’ll see."

"Jupiter Ascending" opens this Friday. It will not have orgies or babies coming out of vaginas.
