This weekend comes the greatest
sporting eating advertising event of the year: the Super Bowl. Frankly, we couldn't tell you what teams are playing or even who the players are, but what we do know is that it's a major marketing weekend for the studios looking to pimp their expensive baubles for a huge domestic audience. Of course, not only will the stars be out to promote their movies in new trailers and extended TV spots, they've been scooped up by various brands who roll out expensive ads in the hopes that you'll talk about them and/or watch them again on Monday. But some are getting the ball rolling early.
The National Milk Mustache Campaign — yes, that's an actual thing — has unveiled their latest Got Milk! ad reteaming "The Rundown" director and star, Peter Berg and Dwayne Johnson. And it's an expensive and simple concept: The Rock needs to get some milk and in doing so, basically has to avoid all kinds of obstacles and the apocalypse to get back home. It's kinda clever but we've already forgotten about it. Money well spent? See below. [Yahoo]
