Trailer placement is a very important thing. You get your promo in front of a film that has the same target audience, and turns out to be a big hit, and you’re potentially laughing all the way to the bank. And that’s why we’ve just seen a trailer for “Last Vegas” over at Yahoo — “The Hangover Part III” is only a week away, and it’s the perfect film to help sell CBS Films‘ aged bachelor party movie to a giant crowd.
Directed by Jon Turteltaub, the comedy sees old friends Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman and Kevin Kline reunited for pal Michael Douglas‘ long-awaited stag weekend in Vegas, where despite their age, they go on to drink and womanize like spring breakers. It looks like very, very broad stuff, but it also looks like it’s potentially a very big hit, especially if those “Hangover” movie goers can be tempted in. Props to the kid cast as the young De Niro, who pulls off the facially expression nicely. And it turns out that Morgan Freeman drunk on vodka Red Bulls sounds just like Bill Cosby. Who knew?
