We know that today is Batman/Cannes/Star Wars day, but there’s something else you should know: the western "Slow West" is hitting DirecTV, and it’s one you should be checking out. And just in time, a new international trailer has surfaced showing off a bit more from the movie, whose cast alone should have you ordering this up.
Starring Michael Fassbender, Ben Mendelsohn, and Kodi Smit-McPhee, the story is simple: a mysterious drifter helps a teenage kid reunite with his true love in the treacherous American frontier. But of course, it won’t be an easy gallop in the "dark, but spirited fable" that has a few twists along the way.
In addition to hitting DirecTV, "Slow West" screens at the Tribeca Film Festival next and hits theaters and VOD on May 15th. Watch the trailer below, along with a new clip from the film via Wall Street Journal.
