Barring any kind of unforeseen disaster, “Transformers: Age Of Extinction” is going to be a massive hit, and possibly one of the biggest movies this summer. The franchise track record—of increasing worldwide hauls for the films culminating in $1.1 billion for “Transformers: Dark Of The Moon“—speaks for itself. And so the question really is: where will you be on opening day?
Well, Paramount is hoping you too will be forking over those hard-earned summer job dollars to see what new lead Mark Wahlberg gets up to in this one. Michael Bay is once again back to direct the mayhem of Autobots, Decepticons and yes, even Dinobots, as they all fight for reasons that will be explained in the movie, but that will probably not matter. And they won’t matter because the reason why anyone goes to see these things is not for character development or intelligent storytelling, it’s to see bright shiny things smash into each other…a lot….
And so this new international trailer and these TV spots (via ComingSoon) promise lots of that. Transform your money into a movie ticket on June 27th.
