An evil, scheming mastermind is about unfold a nefarious plot that puts the whole world at peril, and the only person that can stop it is a sharply dressed man belonging to a British spy agency. Sound familiar? Well, while that may also be the plot of the upcoming Bond flick "Spectre," Matthew Vaughn is hoping to turn the spy genre on its head with "Kingsman: The Secret Service" using the very same ingredients. And a holiday treat has arrived with a new international trailer for the movie.
The story is quite simple in this adaptation of Mark Millar‘s comic. A young kid is recruited into a top secret spy agency, just as a global menace is about to be unleashed. What happens? Well, a lot of (presumably) R-rated stuff as you saw in the recent red band trailer, and basically an entire movie taking the piss out of the more refined world of 007. And certainly, everyone looks to be letting loose, and we’d definitely rather party with Colin Firth than Daniel Craig.
Co-starring Samuel L. Jackson, Taron Egerton, and Mark Strong, "Kingsman: The Secret Service" arrives on February 13th. Watch the trailer below (via Comic Book Movie) along with six featurettes.
