While there have been a handful of TV movies tackling the story of O.J. Simpson‘s cataclysmic fall following the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson, none have been as starry as the upcoming "American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson." Nor have any seemed as ridiculous. This new trailer highlighting the upcoming miniseries might be as absurd as the murder and ensuing trial in the mid ’90s.
Starring Cuba Gooding Jr., John Travolta, Sarah Paulson, Courtney B. Vance, David Schwimmer, Billy Magnussen, Selma Blair, Jordana Brewster, Kenneth Choi, Connie Britton, Bruce Greenwood, Steven Pasquale, Sterling K. Brown, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Evan Handler, Cheryl Ladd and some outrageous wigs and makeup, the ten-part show is based on Jeffrey Toobin‘s "The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson" and will purportedly tell the whole story about what played in court…and behind closed doors.
Ryan Murphy ("The Normal Heart," "American Horror Story") directs, and it all kicks off on February 2nd. Watch below.
