Watch: Spoiler-ific Local News Report On 'Batman v. Superman' That Caused WB To Lauch A Lawsuit

Batman V. Superman: Dawn of JusticeIf the headline didn’t give it away: **SPOILER ALERT**. But if you don’t fear learning a few new details about "Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice", then march onwards…

First, some context. At the end of the summer, actress Jena Malone was spotted on the set of the Zack Snyderdirected film, and you’ll recall she previously worked with the filmmaker on "Sucker Punch." Now, according to a report from WILX in Lansing, Michigan, her role in the new film may have been revealed. According to the puzzle pieces being put together, Malone is actually playing Robin—that’s right, the character in Snyder’s film is a young woman instead of the traditional young man. (In Frank Miller’s graphic novel The Dark Knight Returns, however,a young girl named Carrie Kelly fills the Robin role, not Dick Grayson.)

And the plot thickens because, despite the best efforts of WILX to keep their source on it secret (even hilariously disguising their voice), The Wrap reports that Warner Bros. is launching a $5 million lawsuit against the extra who spilled the beans, breaching the signed confidentiality agreement. Whoops. But that’s not all the Bat-news.

In their own tremendously irritating way, TMZ is speculating that Aussie actor Callan Mulvey has been cast as The Joker in the super sequel. It’s an interesting notion, one that would be put the most famous enemies of both Batman and Superman in one movie. Thoughts? Does that even make sense. Watch both news reports below and let us know.

Update 10/20: THR confirms that Jena Malone is part of the cast. But as Robin? We shall see…
