Over a decade on, the infamously inept movie “The Room” has achieved a high level of reverence usually reserved for more competent films. What better way to take a closer look at Tommy Wiseau’s trash masterpiece than to make a documentary on the legacy it left behind? That’s exactly what filmmaker Rick Harper thought before making “Room Full Of Spoons,” and now the first trailer for the resulting film has arrived.
Lasting under two minutes, this doesn’t really offer much in the way of introductory information to the uninitiated, relying on quick references to "The Room," so we wonder whether Harper’s film will play well to non-fans. Either way, the documentary should prove to be a welcome appetizer to James Franco’s forthcoming adaptation of ‘Room’ cast-member Greg Sestero’s memoir of the making of the film, “The Disaster Artist: My Life Inside The Room.”
