Watch: That Dubbed Trailer ‘Red Lights’ Is Now Available In English For Your Viewing Pleasure

One of the most divisive films from the recent Sundance Film Festival seemed to be "Red Lights," from "Buried" director Rodrigo Cortes. The filmmaker's sophomore effort touted an impressive cast, including Robert De Niro, Sigourney Weaver, Cillian Murphy and Elizabeth Olsen.

There was a flurry of confusion, anger and fascination around "Red Lights" (particularly its ending) unleashed online soon after its premiere — a reaction that only further intrigues us, considering the story follows a psychologist (Weaver) and her assistant (Murphy) whose study of paranormal activity leads them to investigate and try to debunk a world-renowned psychic (De Niro) who steps back into the limelight after 30 years. Toby Jones and Craig Roberts also co-star.

A Spanish-language trailer was recently unveiled for the pic almost immediately after its acquisition by Millenium Pictures, which provided all new footage. Now, saving us from the frustrations/hilarity of dubbing, the same trailer has been released in English for your viewing pleasure.

Our own review from Park City described the film as "a bold effort by Cortés to step up his directorial game, equal parts deft and daft, that coyly addresses the divide between seeing and believing – regardless of whether the illusion is being cast on a stage or on a screen." Comparisons were also made to "Scanners," "Unbreakable" and "The Prestige" — so for those of us who couldn't make it Sundance this year, we'll be eager to see it soon. [via ComingSoon]
