Universal is pulling out the musical stops this week. First they dropped the trailer for hip hop biopic "Straight Outta Compton" on Grammy night, and now they’re unveiling the latest look at a capella comedy "Pitch Perfect 2." And this time the Bellas are going commando.
Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow, Skylar Astin, Ben Platt, Adam DeVine, Anna Camp and Elizabeth Banks (now also directing) are joined by some new faces (Hailee Steinfeld) for the movie, which finds the singing group going international, trying to win the the World Championships of A Capella. But is bigger better? The previous movie worked because of its small scale charm and certainly would’ve have had a campfire emotions confessional sequence.
Anyway, "Pitch Perfect 2" arrives on May 15th. Watch below.
