Okay, while the once planned movie version of “24” couldn’t get rolling, for fans of Jack Bauer this is the next best thing: a twelve episode event series that brings Kiefer Sutherland back to the small screen in full, ass-kicking form. And the first trailer is here to see how he looks upgraded to 2014.
Granted, it’s only thirty seconds but even in that short time we get introduced to a plot about an assassination that could lead to world war. So yeah, the stakes are high. Faces new and old are back, and you can check ’em out in the new batch of stills via EW below. And the highlight is clearly Mary Lynn Rajskub going full Lisbeth Salander.
The two-hour “24: Live Another Day” premiere hits Fox on May 5th.
