Watch: The Hulk & The Hulkbuster Armor Face Off In New ‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’ TV Spot + New Photos

Avengers: Age Of UltronLet’s talk rumors and spoilers about “Avengers: Age Of Ultron.”  If you’d rather not, this is the point where you’ll scroll down to the bottom of the page and check out the new TV spot.

Has “Avengers: Age Of Ultron” been irretrievably spoiled already? Honestly, many tried to stay away from reading some of these rumors, but the act of reading any stories about the Marvel Cinematic Universe makes it difficult to avoid vaguer story beats, ideas and the direction where the universe is heading.

So for one, and again, *spoilers,* it really does sound like the rumors are true: ‘Age Of Ultron,’ will break the ‘Avengers’ in half. The first camel straw is the team is mad at Tony Stark for creating Ultron —and they’ll be at such odds that by “Captain America: Civil War” (what many are already calling “Avengers 2.5”), Iron Man will be the film’s antagonist (which you basically already know having likely already read casting stories about Robert Downey Jr. joining ‘Captain America 3’). And ‘Civil War’ is supposed to set the stage for “Avengers: The Infinity Wars” that will allegedly feature two sets of ‘Avengers’ teams (maybe one lead by Captain America and the other one lead by Iron Man, or an Iron Man lead by James "Rhodey" Rhodes (Don Cheadle maybe?).

After all, long-term commitments binding all the major actors may now seem constricting, and there’s been speculation that adding The Vision, Scarlet Witch, Black Panther, Falcon, Quicksilver and Ant-Man to the MCU for a new ‘Avengers’ team, does it not? Win, win, win for fans?

This is all how it seems to be going down, and since I’ve tried to stay away from the rumors, I’m sure there are many others out there who know a lot more than me. It begs the question: if it does pan out this way, does it irk Marvel that their plans have been revealed? Or in this present day, does it matter much and it’s not about the destination, but the journey? And finally, if the team does break up, is the Hulk going to have a central role going forward, hence Iron Man and The Hulk really going at it in the trailers and this new TV spot? Indeed, watch the new TV spot below and check out some new photos as well. “Avengers: Age Of Ultron” opens on May 1 and by his own admission, director Joss Whedon sounds like he needs a long break and won’t be back.
