Though we’re still three months away from its premiere, Showtime has already started the marketing machine for the seventh (!!!) season of “Dexter.”
The cable network has released a brand new teaser, along with a poster, for its beloved serial killer series. Although the teaser doesn’t contain any new footage, it does set the stage for the general direction of the new season, so if you haven’t caught up yet, beware. **Spoilers** As fans know, last season ended on a helluva cliffhangar with Dexter's sister Deborah finally catching her brother and serial killer in the act of killing his latest victim, in a pretty bold narrative play. How will it will all play out should be fascinating. **End spoilers** Michael C. Hall’s Dexter will be dealing with new characters this season, one is the “strong, independent woman” assisting Dexter in a few old cases played by Yvonne Strahovski (“Chuck”) and the other Russian crime syndicate king played by Ray Stevenson who tries to find out who killed one of his pals.
