Got a Tip?

Watch: War Breaks Out In Final, Action-Heavy Trailer For ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Pt. 2’

nullIt remains to be seen if the end of the greatest love story of our age a relationship between two people in their twenties will end up harming the box office of the final installment of the 'Twilight' franchise. After all, the relationship between Bella and Edward is the be-all and end-all of the franchise, and fans were especially invested in it thanks to the real-life relationship between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, the actors who play the parts. But after a public airing of their dirty laundry, the pair appear to have broken up, and Summit have to be a little nervous that fans' anger will be reflected in the box office for the fifth and final film, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Pt. 2."

We suspect they'll be fine — fans are invested enough in the series that they'll likely turn up to see the finale regardless of the personal lives of their stars. But the studio certainly aren't taking any chances, unveiling a full trailer for the film at last night's MTV VMAs that emphasizes that after all the lingering looks and simmering passion, this is the one where things kick off. Edward and Bella have tied the knot, she's given birth, and she's now a vampire, with all the long-leaps and super strength that comes with it.

But vampire leaders The Volturi (led by Michael Sheen and Dakota Fanning) aren't happy about the union, or the child, and set out to kill their daughter, Renesmee, leaving Bella and Edward to try and unite not just the vampire clans, but also the werewolves, to their cause. We're not sure that the new teaser will win over those who've shunned the series to date, but it does look at least as if there's actual drama in this one, which can only be a good thing. Lee Pace, MyAnna Buring, Rami Malek and Joe Anderson are among those joining the cast this time around, and we'll see if director Bill Condon is able to end the series on a high when the film hits theaters on Friday, November 16th. Watch the clip below (two different version for different regions: if one doesn't work, try the other). [MTV]
