One milestone most of the cinephile world tragically overlooked in 2005 was the tenth anniversary of the comedy classic “Wedding Crashers.” There might be some hyperbole in that statement, but the comedy starring Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson is a favorite around these parts, and the two actors have never been better together (the attempt to reunite them in 2013’s “The Internship” is best forgotten). All that said, there’s no pressing need for a sequel, but it appears one is coming together, and who are we to turn it down?

The word on the possible project comes from Isla Fisher, who’s doing the rounds for “Nocturnal Animals” and who told “The Today Show” that here could be more wedding themed hijinks to come.
“I bumped into Vince Vaughn at a party and he said that apparently we’re going to be making a sequel. So I’m really excited to see what’s happened to Gloria,” the actress said.
Maybe all four major characters from the previous film —John, Jeremy, Gloria, Claire— will continue to crash weddings and offer advice to couples before they tie the knot, instead of trying to have sex with them. But whatever happens, please make room for Will Ferrell‘s Chazz Reinhold. Please. [via Vulture]
